What do you love most about the work you get to do?

For me, it’s telling stories with data. I’ve been doing this for 25 years, and I would like to think I am quite good at it. I love my work as an HR data, research and content solutions consultant. I love diving into data, helping organisations make sense of data that they might find complex or confusing. No matter how messy the data in its raw state might first appear, the story is always there to be found.
I love unlocking and telling the story that is within that data. My mind thrives on problem solving and on finding the exact right words to convey a story – any story – in the most clear, concise and compelling manner possible. There are so many different ways to tell a story with data, whether that’s through data dashboards, financial modelling, presentations or good old-fashioned report writing.
If you want to find out more about what I do, please take a moment to click on my LinkedIn profile or drop me a line for a chat. If you or your organisation happen to be stuck on a troublesome data task, I might just be able to help.
Not everyone has the good fortune to love everything or even something about their work. But if you had to name off the top of your head what you love most about the work you get to do, what would you say? Please post a comment below, or @ me on the social medium of your choice: LinkedIn; BlueSky, Mastodon, Threads or Instagram.
May you be nothing but kind today, to others and to yourself.
May today be nothing but kind to you and yours.
