Unseasonal roses, canine companions and autumnal cascades! A few personal highlights from November 2023, captured in tiny wee snapshots.
This is my latest monthly selection of snapshots of things that caught my eye over these past few weeks, comprising the month of November 2023.
Wednesday 1 November 2023: Late rose
I could hardly believe there was still a rose growing in my garden in November…
Nor that there was a brief moment of sunshine in which to photograph it, amidst today’s heavy autumnal stormage!
Saturday 4 November 2023: Because of you
On this day, it was my honour to to present a guest blog post, penned by my lovely friend Dr Paul Taylor-Pitt. Paul shared some quite beautiful and moving words about how Madonna has inspired him to live “a deliberate, provocative and vivid life” of reinvention and celebration. Saturday 18 November 2023: Chilled Meg
We have had the very good fortune to be able to do a lot of dogsitting this month…
Meg was very chilled indeed on this particular day, I am pleased to report!
Monday 20 November 2023: London town
I headed into London for a meeting today. I had the luxury of a little time prior to the meeting, and so spent it taking in some of the sights that can be seen in and around the South Bank area.

Wednesday 22 November 2023: Skies aflame
The sky was (very) briefly aflame with colour, as the sun decided to put in a rare, late-November appearance.

Serving autumnal arboreal afternoon realness…
And, as it happened to be Thanksgiving, feeling nothing but gratitude for the opportunity to do so.
