The third weekly set of pics from my October daily drawing challenge, taking in Morticia Addams, Oscar Wilde, Count Dracula and some rather lovely flowers.
Every day this month, I’m drawing and sharing a brand-new picture. I’m “debuting” each day’s picture on Instagram, then rounding them up with a weekly gallery post here on MJCarty.com.

Oscar! Friday 16 October 2020 was the 166th birthday of one Oscar Fingal O’Flahertie Wills Wilde. To mark the occasion, here’s my sketch of the great man himself.
And thinking about it, this must also have been the 11th anniversary of when I briefly got to meet Stephen Fry, on the occasion of his delivering a talk in London to mark the 155th anniversary of Oscar’s birth. You can read more about this in A Tweet from Sir: Of @StephenFry, Oscar Wilde and secrets.

Morticia Addams (as portrayed on the silver screen by Anjelica Huston).
I can’t wait to see where pen and ink take me next! Join me each Saturday throughout October 2020 for weekly round-ups of these daily art excursions. And if you fancy putting pen to paper to produce some #Sketchulence…. well, why not give it a try right now? I’d love to see what you come up with!
