A disco ball, a green cactus and a green-clad MJCarty! A few personal highlights from March 2024, captured in tiny wee snapshots.
This is my latest monthly selection of snapshots of things that caught my eye over these past few weeks, comprising the month of March 2024 (but kicking off with a few pictures from the tail end of February, picking up from the day I published my previous monthly snapshot selection).
Saturday 24 February 2024: Disco inferno

In which the glitterball does what glitterballs tend to do, reflecting the rays of the morning sun.
Friday 1 March 2024: Debut sunrise

The very first sunrise of the new month of March 2024… and what a freezing cold sun-up it was!
Monday 4 March 2024: Delightful radiance

Dazzling, radiant sunrise, cutting through this morning’s icy cold mists. This day was my birthday, so it was all the more delightful for the sun to put in an appearance after what seems like an unbroken eternity of grey and/or rainy days over this past winter.

The illuminated cactus.
Thursday 14 March 2024: A promise of joy?

Anyone who endured this last (now mercifully concluded) UK winter will be aware just how wet, cold and grey it was. So you will also be able to imagine the promise of joy brought by the above picture. Could that have been an actual teeny wee hint of sun in the sky, as this particular Thursday started to think about getting started?!?
Sunday 17 March 2024: Season’s greetings!

An MJCarty dressed in seasonally appropriate green for St Patrick’s Day.
Wednesday 27 March 2024: A Meg, a Piglet

Today we once again had the privilege of dog sitting the lovely Meg. Here she is looking very restful, her faithful Piglet to hand.
