Every person, every soul

What should you expect of every person, every soul? What should every person, every soul expect of you?

Every person, every soul is unique. Every person, every soul also has so much in common.

What should every person, every soul expect of you?

Every person, every soul should be welcomed into your day or into your life with warmth, openness and curiosity. Regardless of whether you know them like the back of your hand or if this is the first time your paths have had the good fortune to cross.

Every person, every soul deserves to be treated with kindness.

Every person, every soul deserves to be treated with respect, understanding and compassion.

Every person, every soul will show that they are capable of doing things that will amaze and delight you, if you give them the chance.

Every person, every soul will stumble at times, will do things that are not in line with their character or competency. They will mess up, one way or another. That doesn’t necessarily mean that they meant to let you or themselves down. Every person, every soul – at such times – should be afforded another chance.

What should you expect of every person, every soul?

Every person, every soul that you meet should treat you with at least the same respect, understanding and compassion that you extend to them. If not, ask yourself why that should be. Is there something in how you treat them that might need to be changed?

Every person, every soul deserves to be treated with kindness. Yourself very much included.

May you be nothing but kind today, to yourself and to others.

May today be nothing but kind to you and yours.
